Roblox Username Generator

Roblox username rules

Every name this generator makes follows Roblox's rules, so you can try it straight away:

• 3 to 20 characters long.
• Letters and numbers only, plus at most one underscore (_), and never at the start or end.
• No spaces, symbols or emoji.
• It must be unique: if someone already has it, Roblox will tell you when you type it.
• It must follow Roblox's Community Standards, like everything else on Roblox.

Changing your username costs Robux

Your username is your permanent login name. Changing it later costs 1,000 Robux, so it is worth picking one you will still like next year. Your display name is different: it is the name shown above your avatar, and you can change it for free. Try the display name generator for that.

Tips for a great username

• Keep it easy to say. Friends should be able to find you by reading your name out loud.
• Leave out personal details. Never put your real full name, age, school or city in a username.
• Short names are mostly taken. Five-letter names were claimed years ago, so add a number or switch the order of the words if Roblox says a name is in use.
• Make it yours. Add your nickname or a favourite word in the box above and the generator mixes it in.
