What is DevEx?
The Developer Exchange (DevEx) is Roblox's program for turning Robux you earned into real money. Earned Robux come from selling game passes, developer products, avatar items and similar things on Roblox. Robux you bought, or got as a gift, cannot be cashed out.
The DevEx rate
Roblox pays $0.0038 per Robux earned after 5 September 2025, and $0.0035 for Robux earned before that date. So 100,000 earned Robux pay $380 at the current rate.
That is lower than what Robux cost to buy (about a cent each on roblox.com). The gap is how Roblox pays for hosting, payments and moderation, like the buying and selling rates at a currency exchange.
The 30,000 Robux minimum
You need at least 30,000 earned Robux to request a payout, which is $114 at the current rate. The calculator above tells you how far you are from it.
Who can use DevEx
Roblox sets its own rules, and they change from time to time. They include a minimum age, a verified account in good standing, identity and tax details, and agreeing to the DevEx terms. Read Roblox's official DevEx page before you plan around a payout.
