Here is some Roblox trivia for kids: 60 easy questions, each with its answer printed right after it. They are sorted into three age groups, 6 to 8, 9 to 11, and 12 and up, and every one is about something that has stayed true for years. Use them at a birthday party, in a classroom or on a long car ride.

The short answer

Good Roblox questions for kids are short, have one clear answer and stick to facts that don't change: Robux, avatars, badges, Roblox Studio and long-running games like Adopt Me!, Brookhaven and Tower of Hell. Leave out item prices and codes, because they go out of date fast. All the easy Roblox trivia questions below follow that rule, so the page works as a ready-made Roblox quiz for kids with answers. Read it straight off the screen or print it.

Robux Quiz is a fan-made site. We are not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or with the studios behind any of the games in this list.

Easy Roblox trivia for ages 6 to 8

These are for younger players who know their way around a game but may still be learning to read. Read the questions out loud and accept any answer that gets the idea right.

Roblox basics

  • Q: What is the money you spend on Roblox called? A: Robux.
  • Q: What do you call your character on Roblox? A: Your avatar.
  • Q: Roblox has another name for the games people make. What is it? A: Experiences. Lots of players just say games, and both are right.
  • Q: Two people started Roblox. Can you name one of them? A: David Baszucki or Erik Cassel.
  • Q: Name two things you can play Roblox on. A: Any two of these: a computer, a phone, a tablet, an Xbox, a PlayStation or a VR headset.
  • Q: What do many games give you when you do something special, like finishing a hard level? A: A badge. You can see every badge you have earned in the Badges section of your inventory.

Playing the game

  • Q: On a computer, which key makes your avatar jump? A: The space bar.
  • Q: Which four letter keys walk your avatar around on a computer? A: W, A, S and D.

Staying safe

Roblox trivia for ages 9 to 11

Kids in this group usually know the big games well, so these Roblox questions go a little deeper into history, Robux and the rules of popular games.

Roblox history and chat words

  • Q: Which came first, Roblox or the first iPhone? A: Roblox. It launched in 2006, and the first iPhone came out in 2007.
  • Q: Before Roblox, its founders worked on a computer program for science lessons. Which subject was it about? A: Physics. The program was called Interactive Physics.

Robux, clothing and names

  • Q: Where can you buy Robux safely? A: Only from Roblox itself: on roblox.com, in the official Roblox app, or with a Roblox gift card from a real store.
  • Q: Where do you type in a Roblox gift card code? A: At roblox.com/redeem in a web browser. Ask a grown-up to help.
  • Q: True or false: a Robux generator website can add Robux to your account. A: False. Only Roblox can make Robux, so every generator is a trick to steal accounts.
  • Q: Which three kinds of classic clothing can creators design and sell on Roblox? A: T-shirts, shirts and pants.
  • Q: Can two players have the same display name? A: Yes. Every username is one of a kind, but lots of players can share a display name. Need ideas? Try our display name generator.

  • Q: In 99 Nights in the Forest, what keeps the Deer away from your camp at night? A: The campfire. Keep feeding it logs or coal so it doesn't go out.
  • Q: Is the tower in Tower of Hell the same every round? A: No. It is put together at random, so every climb is different.

Staying safe

  • Q: A player says they work for Roblox and need your password to fix your account. What should you do? A: Refuse. Roblox staff never ask for your password. Block them, report them and tell a grown-up.
  • Q: What can you turn on so nobody can get into your account, even if they find out your password? A: 2-Step Verification. It asks for an extra code when someone logs in.
  • Q: Which two buttons can you use if someone is mean to you in a game? A: Block, so they can't contact you, and Report, so Roblox can look at what happened.

How to run a Roblox quiz at a party or in class

You don't need much: this page, something to write on and a way to keep score. Here is a setup that works for a few kids at home or a full class.

  1. Pick the right age section. With mixed ages, make teams that pair an older player with a younger one, and let the younger player answer the 6 to 8 questions.
  2. Keep rounds short. Ten questions is plenty for younger kids. Older kids can handle a round from each section.
  3. Print it or put it on a screen. Print the page for the quizmaster, or show one question at a time on a TV or class board.
  4. Have everyone write their answers. Paper or small whiteboards stop the fastest talker from winning every question.
  5. Keep scoring simple. One point for a right answer, half a point for a close one, and a bonus point for anything in the "Who made it?" section.
  6. Save a tiebreaker. Hold back the stud question, then ask everyone to guess how long one stud is in centimetres. Closest to 28 wins.
  7. Choose prizes that aren't online. Stickers, picking the next game or being the next quizmaster all go down well.

Teachers can use the Roblox Studio questions as a warm-up before a coding lesson. Studio is free, and Luau is a real programming language, so the questions lead straight into talking about how games get built.

A note for parents

Every question here is about the game itself, and none of them ask kids to share anything about themselves. Two questions in the 9 to 11 section mention Doors and 99 Nights in the Forest, which are spooky games, so skip them for kids who don't play scary games. The safety questions are worth repeating at home: a real Roblox employee will never ask for a password, and no website, video or player can hand out free Robux.

If your child plays, turn on 2-Step Verification for their account and look through Roblox's Parental Controls. There you can choose which games they can join and who they can chat with, and for children under 13 you can also set a monthly spending limit and a daily screen time limit. Our Roblox account safety guide covers 2-Step Verification, parental controls and the scams kids are most likely to run into.
